Role Overview
A skilled and experienced Onshore Commissioning Engineer with strong expertise in water and wastewater treatment systems including STP, ETP, UF, RO, and DM plants. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end site execution support, from installation supervision to commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project schedules, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support installation activities of water and wastewater treatment systems such as
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
- Ultrafiltration (UF) systems
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
- Demineralization (DM) plants
- Execute and lead commissioning activities including:
- Pre-commissioning checks
- System testing and trials
- Performance validation
- Prepare and manage:
- Detailed commissioning schedules and timelines
- Material requirement lists (MRL) and site planning documents
- Daily, weekly, and milestone progress reports
- Coordinate effectively with:
- Clients and consultants
- Internal engineering and project teams
- Vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure smooth execution of complete site activities, including:
- Equipment inspection and verification
- Piping and instrumentation checks
- Electrical and control system integration
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
- Ensure strict adherence to:
- Project specifications and quality standards
- HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures
- Local and international safety norms
- Support project handover activities including documentation, training, and client acceptance
- Strong practical knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies
- Hands-on experience in installation supervision and site execution
- Ability to prepare commissioning schedules and material planning
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and client coordination abilities
- Familiarity with safety standards and site compliance requirements
- Willingness to travel and work on-site (onshore projects)
- Good documentation and reporting skills
