Our Client, a very prestigious name in the Hair industry. They are expanding operations and in search of recruiting talented hairstylists & Colorist who are willing to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Criteria:

To be considered for any of the positions above, you must:

Have at least 8 years of salon experience for senior staff, Minimum 2 years of salon experience for junior staff

Offer exceptional client experience and quality services.

Conduct impressive client consultations.

Be motivated to grow your clientele.

Be confident in all techniques and trends

If you have experience cutting short and long hair and are up-to-date with styling trends, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new looks.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions

Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers face shapes and tastes

Wash, rinse and dry clients hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)

Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment

Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage

Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns

Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)

Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences

Manage bookings and serve walk-ins

Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed

Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate

Requirements

Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role

Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers

Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids and top knots)

Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing

Up-to-date with industry trends

Excellent communication skills

Physical stamina to stand for long hours

Flexibility to work in shifts

Valid license from a cosmetology school

Job Responsibilities:

Consulting with clients and provide inputs at every stage of the styling process, i.e. advising on the colour, style, hair type, treatments, etc.

Listening to client needs to determine their preferences.

Identify the needs of the customer and recommend a range of styles / services/ products that are appropriate

Describing different hair care products and their benefits.

Shampooing, cutting, coloring, highlighting and hair styling.

Should be able to explain the products and advise the clients with the required treatments.

Should have her own Client base to move with her.

Do permanent straightening / wave using specialized products

Also have in-depth knowledge of the products that are used or for sale in the salon

Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products.

Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits.

Maintain relationships with key customers and records of what has been used for them such as hair color shade or permanent wave formula

Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the salon.

Maintain personal grooming standards and Adhering to salon safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards of the salon at all times.

Coordinate with receptionists to have maximum number of appointments per day

Guide and supervise the hair and salon assistants to ensure that they maintain the salon's standards

Keeping updated or Stay up to date on the latest hairstyle trends and styling methods
