Job Overview:
The Events Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the creation, coordination, and execution of tailored private event packages for a wide range of clients. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximizing event-driven revenue, and ensuring operational excellence through collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Package Development & Customization
Assist in the design and refinement of private event offerings based on client needs, market trends, and guest feedback to enhance overall experience and competitiveness.
Sales & Revenue Support
Contribute to the achievement of annual sales targets by identifying upsell opportunities, assisting in price strategy, and supporting revenue tracking initiatives.
Client Engagement & Satisfaction
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, propose tailored event solutions, and ensure smooth execution and post-event satisfaction.
Market Research & Benchmarking
Support periodic evaluations of market trends and competitor offerings to maintain fresh and relevant event packages.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, F&B, marketing, and guest services to ensure seamless, high-quality event delivery.
Site Inspections & Upselling
Support in conducting site inspections and client walkthroughs, while identifying and recommending value-added services.
Client Retention & Repeat Business
Participate in post-event follow-ups to foster long-term relationships and explore opportunities for future engagements.
CRM & Pipeline Tracking
Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and event details through the CRM system to support sales tracking and performance analysis.
Weekend Availability
Flexibility to support weekend or off-hour events as required by the operational calendar.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Minimum 5 years of experience in events, hospitality, or guest services
Proven background in account management, client servicing, or events coordination
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Confident working with CRM systems and omni-channel environments
Valid driving license
Preferred:
Fluency in Arabic
Additional language proficiency
Experience in sales or client-facing roles within hospitality, retail, or entertainment
Familiarity with customer experience systems and performance tools
