An established K-12 international school delivering an American-based curriculum in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced School Counselor for an immediate start and August 2024 start date.

As School Counselor, you will provide social-emotional support and academic guidance to students in grades K-12. Counselors play a vital role in fostering student wellbeing and success.

Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one and group counseling sessions
• Guide students on academic issues like subject selection, study habits, exam preparation
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to assist struggling students
• Develop and deliver guidance lessons on social-emotional learning
• Refer students to external services as needed
• Advise on university admissions and career pathways for high school students

• Master's degree in Counseling or related field
• 2+ years experience as a School Counselor
• Knowledge of American curriculum and university applications process
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities
• Passion for supporting student personal growth and achievement

Salary range:
