- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for roads, highways, and utility networks (stormwater, sewer, water, electrical, telecom)
- Interpret and convert engineering designs, survey data, and markups into technical drawings using MicroStation V8i/CONNECT Edition
- Develop layouts, plans, profiles, cross-sections, and utility coordination drawings
- Work closely with engineers, BIM coordinators, and design teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
- Revise drawings based on feedback, redlines, and updated design data
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation in line with project standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, CAD standards, and local authority guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering Drafting or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Draftsman using MicroStation on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of utility design (wet and dry services), road alignments, and highway structures
- Proficiency in MicroStation V8i and/or CONNECT Edition is essential
- Familiarity with local/municipal standards for roads and utilities (e.g., DOT, DM, RTA standards)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
