Fashion Design & Tailoring Instructor

ATLANTA TRAINING CENTER is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Design & Tailoring Instructor to lead our new comprehensive "Professional Program in Fashion Design and Tailoring" in Dubai.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to mentor aspiring designers and tailors. The ideal candidate will be a master of both the creative process and the technical craft, guiding trainees from fundamental sewing techniques and pattern making to designing and creating a professional collection.

• Deliver a hands-on, 220-hour curriculum covering sewing machine operation, garment construction, pattern making, and fashion design.
• Demonstrate and teach advanced tailoring techniques, pattern manipulation, and fitting.
• Guide trainees through the creative process of fashion illustration, collection development, and mood boarding.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students, helping them build a professional portfolio.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Assess student progress through practical projects and a final portfolio review.

• 7-10+ years of practical experience in the fashion industry, with a proven track record in both fashion design and technical tailoring.
• Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern drafting, and advanced sewing techniques.
• Expertise in the fashion design process, including illustration, trend forecasting, and collection development.
• Prior experience as a trainer or educator is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and demonstration skills.
• A strong passion for teaching and the ability to inspire a diverse group of learners.
