Production Intern
Job Description
THE ROLE
This is where careers in production begin. We're looking for someone organised, reliable, and genuinely curious about how professional productions come to life — from the first set build to the final wrap.
As Production Intern, you will work alongside our production team on shoot days and in the studio — supporting set setup, managing errands, keeping files and equipment organised, and making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll work across real productions, real logistics, and real deadlines.
No experience required — but basic foundational knowledge, organisation, reliability, and a willingness to get things done are non-negotiable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
On-Set Support & Setup
Assist with setup and breakdown of production spaces — set build, basic lifting, lighting assistance, general prep
Help prepare and reset set areas throughout the shoot day
Support the crew with general tasks to keep production running efficiently
Keep set areas clean, safe, and organized at all times
Production Errands & Runner Duties
Handle on-site and off-site errands — pickups, drop-offs, supply runs, and last-minute purchasing
Coordinate deliveries and help track items needed for production
Assist with basic logistical tasks including printing, office supply organisation, and packing lists
File & Admin Organisation
Organise production-related files, folders, and documents — both digital and physical
Ensure drives and folders follow naming conventions and are easy to navigate
Assist in sorting footage and audio uploads when required — simple file handling, no editing required
Equipment & Inventory Assistance
Help track gear and supplies using labels, check-in/check-out logs, and organised storage
Assist in packing and unpacking equipment and maintaining organised storage cases
Support in keeping the production storage area tidy and functional at all times
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
This is not a coffee-run internship. By the end of three months, you will have hands-on experience across the full production cycle:
- How a production set runs from prep to wrap
- Set etiquette and crew communication standards
- Production workflow and team coordination
- Real-world organisation systems used in professional productions
- Managing logistics, documents, and support tasks efficiently
- File management and naming systems used in real production pipelines
- Equipment handling and inventory management
- How creative, production, and account teams work together
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
You must be- Organised and attentive to detail — things should not get lost around you
- Comfortable with physical tasks: moving equipment, boxes, and supplies
- Able to follow instructions clearly and ask questions when unsure
- Proactive — you notice what needs doing and do it
- Proficient in basic computer skills: Google Drive, email, folder structures, file naming
- Good with time management and comfortable multitasking on a busy shoot day
- Professional and respectful in team communication
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- An interest in film, media, content production, or behind-the-scenes work
- Any prior exposure to production environments — shoots, studios, or events
- Basic understanding of file formats and folder organisation for video or photography
- Familiarity with production or creative environments of any kind
