Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the resorts Information Technology team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are
  • Business Analysis and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Proactively gather requirements from multiple sources using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks, and workflow analysis.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead the development, documentation and translation of complex enterprise-wide business requirements into visual process maps, use cases, and/or technical specifications
  • Leverage advanced analytical skills to interpret business needs, distil high-level information into underlying details and translate them into operational requirements
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans and assist in defining success metrics
  • Successfully engage in a dynamic work environment and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, with the flexibility to adjust to fast-paced and evolving priorities
  • Demonstrate teamwork and drive successful results in small or complex applications rollout to single or multi-properties
  • Adherence to Company Policies
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to define system and process requirements.
  • Analyse current systems and workflows to identify areas for enhancement or automation.
  • Gather and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Support the planning, design, testing, and deployment of system upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new systems or applications.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
  • Partner with software vendors, application developers, and internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.
  • Assist in project management activities, including task tracking, timeline monitoring, and status reporting.
  • Generate analytical reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and provide analytical support across departments.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related BA or Systems Analyst experience, preferably within the gaming and/or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of: POS, PMS, CMS systems is highly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of computer-generated reports, forms, and programs as necessary to complete all job tasks.
  • Customer Focus: Anticipates and meets the needs of internal and external customers; provides excellent service in every interaction.
  • Analytical Thinking: Uses data and logic to identify trends, root causes, and solutions.
  • Communication: Clearly conveys ideas and information through verbal and written formats; facilitates understanding.
