Job Overview:

We are hiring for our client, a leading Hotels and Hospitality chain in Dubai.

The role requires effective leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team to deliver top-quality maintenance services and optimal guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the engineering department, ensuring timely maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety, fire, health, and building codes.
• Lead and train engineering staff, providing support, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints related to engineering and maintenance issues.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service contractors.
• Ensure energy conservation and sustainability efforts are implemented and monitored.
• Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs, licenses, inspections, and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree/diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering or maintenance experience
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and hotel operations.
• Familiarity with BMS/ CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and facility compliance standards.
