Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, for a Science Online Educator. The educator will prepare, plan, and deliver interactive and engaging science lessons to students using digital teaching tools. Responsibilities include tailoring educational content to address the needs and questions of students in real time, focusing on concepts in science, physics, and mathematics.The educator will also create personalized lesson plans and ensure a positive and productive learning environment for students.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge in Science Education, particularly in Physics and Mathematics
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher and expertise in developing and implementing Lesson Plans
- Ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively to diverse learners
- Proficiency in using digital tools for delivering online education
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in online teaching is an asset but not mandatory
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students
- Flexibility to adapt to various learning paces and styles
