Job description
Conduct routine analyses of oil, water and liquid samples.Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality.
Prepare all required reagents, standards, reference material, etc.
Carry out all required data processing (calculation, review, entry, etc.).
Carry out all required record-keeping and documentation.
Perform all required quality control procedures.
Perform instrument and equipment calibration, maintenance and repair as required.
Prioritize lab activities in order to meet the company deadlines.
Other duties as assigned by the laboratory coordinator.
Keep the workbench and test equipment, including glassware, neat, clean and ready at any point in time.
Qualifications- Diploma in chemical engineering or B.Sc. degree in chemistry from a recognized university or institution.
- Eight yearsu2019 experience in chemical analysis, of which a minimum of two yearsu2019 experience shall be in crude oil laboratory analysis.
- Should be able to communicate in English and Arabic.
- Must have worked in an internationally accredited laboratory (for crude oil) for at least one year.
