Role purpose

Manage the ADIB WORK regional team business plan to achieve well-defined business goals/KPIs focused on NTB acquisition.
Maintain adequate controls and satisfactory business conduct while continuing to share competition scans and market practices.
Maintain existing regional strategic relationships, identify and develop new opportunities/relationships and new venues to increase NTB business acquisition, while ensuring ADIB brand presence and recall within top employers.

Develop and execute strategic plans, business engagements, and operating models to expand business within targeted groups and corporates.

Key accountabilities of the role
  • Manage a regional business team (10 Sr. RO/RO) covering Dubai and NE region including corporate portfolio assigned.
  • Identify and acquire new markets, propose regional engagement strategies.
  • Design and propose niche propositions and policies (segment/industry specific) aligning with the unit's operating model and KPIs; propose relevant policy and process enhancements and fixes.
  • Maintain existing strategic relationships, identify and develop new relationships and venues to increase NTB business acquisition, while ensuring ADIB brand presence and recall within top employers.
  • Roll out regional employer engagement activation plans focused on targeted sectors and industries including WBG, Community banking, BBD corporates to drive new corporate activation (kiosks, onboarding, packages, MOUs) and achieve the unit's NTB and cross-sell business targets.
  • Conduct robust performance monitoring systems to drive business growth.
  • Ensure synergy between business and support teams to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Drive utilization of new digital assets and the enhancement of processes and platforms.
  • Act as a regional SPOC and leverage liaison points between WORK and other businesses (WBG, BBD, Community), channels (branches, DSU), and segments (Private and Priority), Credit, GCD, Products, etc., to achieve the regional targeted business flows and cross-sell.
  • Maintain sound, adequate business controls and satisfactory business conduct aligning with the bank's governance.
Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role
  • Solid retail products and policies development knowledge.
  • Strong business analytics, branding, and marketing knowledge.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team building and management skills.
  • Substantial strategic planning and multitasking skills.
  • Coverage: Dubai and NE.

Previous experience required

10+ years of experience in a team management role in retail banking within Employee Banking, At Work, Retail Coverage, or Multi Products.
