About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery within a trading and industrial solutions environment. This role is responsible for defining project scope, managing resources, controlling budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely, high-quality project outcomes.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, structured project governance, and the ability to align stakeholders around clear objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & GovernanceDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation models.
Establish project governance structures, reporting cadence, and control mechanisms.
Execution & Delivery ManagementLead end-to-end project execution, ensuring milestones, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver project outcomes.
Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and address issues proactively.
Risk, Cost & Quality ManagementIdentify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Control project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Stakeholder & Communication ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status reporting, and escalation management.
Facilitate steering committee meetings, reviews, and decision-making forums.
Change & Issue ManagementManage scope changes through formal change-control processes.
Resolve conflicts and issues impacting project delivery in a timely and structured manner.
Ensure alignment between evolving business requirements and project objectives.
Performance Tracking & ReportingTrack project KPIs, milestones, and performance metrics.
Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
Leadership & MentoringLead, coach, and motivate project team members to achieve high performance.
Promote best practices in project management methodologies and tools.
Support capability building and continuous improvement across project teams.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
8–12 years of project management experience, preferably in trading, industrial, or solution-based environments.
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid models).
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex stakeholder groups.
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
