Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join the Finance team of a Financial Services client. This role will take ownership of financial reporting, accounting, and audit liaison, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial governance within investment banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Oversee statutory and regulatory accounting in line with IFRS and relevant banking standards.
• Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, managing audit processes end-to-end.
• Partner with business and product teams to provide insight on financial performance and controls.
• Drive process improvements, ensuring robust controls and efficiency in reporting.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 710 years experience in finance, financial control, or accounting, ideally in an investment bank or Big 4 audit with banking clients.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
