Cost Controller

What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Hospitality accounting or cost control certification
- Proven experience in a similar role within hospitality or hotel operations
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost accounting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel ERP systems (e.g., Sun, BirchStreet, and OnQ)
- Ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
- Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
- Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Additional preferences:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
