Job: Maths Lead Practitioner
Employer: International School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Start date: 17th August 2026
Annual Tax-Free Salary: 34,500 - 40,000 + Benefits including housing, flight allowance, medical and gratuity (worth over 15,000)

Contract: Full-time, fixed term for 2 years

Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant international school in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time Maths Lead Practitioner to start in August 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Teacher of Maths or a middle leader to develop their leadership skills in supporting colleagues in strengthening their practice.

The job responsibilities include:

As a Maths Lead Practitioner, you'll work across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and provide high quality coaching and subject-specific CPD to Maths teachers to achieve sustained improvements in teaching and learning.

You'll implement and monitor strategies to raise the achievement of targeted Maths students and act as a champion for SEND students.

You'll teach Maths across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and prepare the students for IGCSE and A level exams.

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • PGCE and QTS / QTLS
  • Degree in Maths or related field
  • Successful UK teaching experience in Maths at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
