Business Unit Purpose:
To ensure accurate, strategic, and competitive pricing and costing frameworks that support sustainable financial performance across airline and non-airline operations.
Job Purpose:
To lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide pricing and costing strategies, aligning them with financial objectives and ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and strategic decision-making support across both airline and non-airline business segments.
Key Result Areas:
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing and costing strategies aligned with company goals to ensure profitability and effective pricing decisions.
- Provide data-driven financial insights to guide leadership in commercial strategy, pricing decisions, and margin optimisation.
- Produce detailed costing and revenue reports to support strategic planning and enhance financial performance.
- Ensure all pricing and costing practices comply with internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of pricing and costing modules within ERP and specialised tools.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Identify process improvements and implement automation initiatives in collaboration with IT and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis to benchmark pricing strategies against industry trends and provide competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, sales, and culinary teams to optimise pricing inputs and ensure cost efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend pricing or cost-control adjustments based on data insights.
Job Context:
This role operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment where pricing precision, cost control, and margin protection are critical. The position is pivotal in supporting EKFC&aposs growth by leveraging data, systems, and strategic insight to influence financial performance.The incumbent will work closely with multiple departments and external partners while fostering a culture of innovation, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (required)
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in pricing, costing, revenue optimisation, or financial planning, preferably within airline catering, logistics, or food service industries.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in pricing methodologies, cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE, Oracle)
- Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership abilities
- High attention to detail, problem-solving acumen, and business judgment
- Proven ability to manage confidential data and work under pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
