Position - Quantity Surveyor & Estimation Engineer

Location: Al Ain UAE

Contract - 6 Months only

Experience: 5+ years in Quantity Surveying / 35+ years in Cost Estimation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in UAE construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and contract management, with a deep understanding of UAE construction codes, procurement processes, and lifecycle costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for civil, MEP, and architectural works.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Manage tendering and procurement processes in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Conduct value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Administer contracts (FIDIC/UAE-specific), including variations and claims.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Monitor cost control and financial reporting throughout project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Tools:

• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, Primavera/MS Project, AutoCAD, CostX, Bluebeam, MathCAD, MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines.
• Experience in proposal writing and client negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or FM projects in the UAE.
