Role Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee the sales function for the resort, focusing on driving revenue across rooms, F&B outlets, and events. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and business development to ensure the resort meets and exceeds its revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from rooms, F&B, and event bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, travel trade, event planners, and other key partners.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities to increase market share.
- Oversee the creation of proposals, contracts, and promotional materials.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns and promotional offers.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
- Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in selling rooms, F&B offerings, and event spaces.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficient in sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as business demands.
