Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Are you a passionate foodie who is not afraid of thinking outside the box? Then, we have the job for you! As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will assist your Line Manager in strategically leading the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team for smooth operation
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained
  • Ensure consistent and efficient service is provided by a well-trained team to our guests
  • Oversee the implementation of a training plan for all Food & Beverage team members
  • Strategize on new products and service offerings
  • Maintain a presence in the outlets during operating hours
  • Foster a winning, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver the best possible service and to provide feedback and suggestions
  • Drive the performance of the Food & Beverage team members, including completion of performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and performance management in conjunction with People & Culture
  • Provide support to the F&B Director in strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive excellence in the Food & Beverage department

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service-focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
  • Previous experience with a 5 star international brand in a complex Food & Beverage operation is preferred
  • Should have an eye for details and focus on quality results in terms of service
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
