Overview of the role
The After Market Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving service and workshop activities for Ingersoll Rand products, including developing winch and hoist overhauling proposals, and managing relationships with Oil & Gas and drilling customers.This role ensures that workshops operate at full capacity, achieving revenue and profitability targets, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
What you will do- Manage and grow service and parts revenue through effective sales and distribution strategies.
- Identify and approach lost customers and new prospects to secure new business.
- Oversee on-time delivery of services, considering lead times and customer requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat and improved business levels.
- Handle every stage of the sales process while overseeing a team of After Sales Engineers, Service Managers, and technicians.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and market trends in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Maintain competitive market knowledge to drive market share growth.
- Strong technical expertise in compressed air system equipment, including Ingersoll Rand centrifugal and rotary compressors.
- Proven track record in aftersales and service within the UAE/Middle East region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing long-term service agreements and contracts.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
About the team
You will be part of the Power & Industrial Products Division at FAMCO, working closely with the National After Sales Manager and a team of service engineers, managers, and technicians. The team is driven, results-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers in the Oil & Gas sector.
What equips you for the role- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in aftersales and service for compressed air systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of Ingersoll Rand products, including centrifugal and rotary compressors.
- Experience with SAP and territory management.
- A motivated, organized, and results-driven personality with adaptability and accountability under pressure.
