Job Title: Head of Finance

Job Description:

You will play a key role in budgeting, financial planning, and identifying opportunities for financial optimization and risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, analyzing variances and suggesting corrective actions as needed.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, perform cost-benefit analyses, and provide recommendations to support the companys growth strategies.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to keep management informed of the companys financial status.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and financial standards, contributing to the maintenance of the companys financial integrity.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek to improve financial analysis and reporting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in the consumer lending or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling techniques, and investment analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial certification is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis tools and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of the consumer lending industry and its regulatory environment.
