School Nurse (Immediate joining)

Job Description

SAIS Dubai is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced School Nurse to join the team.

The nurse will be reporting to the School Doctor, the successful applicant will support the school and assist in providing optimal learning opportunities by supplying the services needed to identify health related barriers to education and addressing each student's health needs thereby improving their ability to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that students and parents adhere to, and are well informed of immunization programs as per Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Be available to students and staff to address their immediate medical needs, providing a source of medical advice.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records of all students as regulated by the Ministry of Health.
• Establish procedures for providing first aid in case of accidents or illness on the school campus or during school functions.
• Refer accidents or illnesses appropriately to the school doctor or hospitals and inform parents and the school Principal.
• Be present for all student-related activities on campus.

Experience and qualification requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduate
• Registered Nurse
• Dubai Health Authority (DHA) nursing license
• At least 2 years experience in Dubai
• School, or pediatric experience required

• Excellent English Communication skills and positive interpersonal.
• The ability to remain calm in case of emergency and cope with a degree of pressure at peak times.
• A logical and relaxed individual able to interact with a variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures.
