We offer the internationally recognized National Curriculum for England, and prepare students to take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) course and A Level Examinations of the Universities of Cambridge and London (UK).At the present time, the school offers this curriculum from Early Years Foundation Stage to Grade 12 and Pre-KG.
Teaching- Deliver the required curriculum; demonstrating accurate and up to date knowledge of British curriculum and subject matter.
- Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students. Create and utilize appropriate materials and the classroom environment to cater for different learning styles.
- Show written evidence of planning and preparation on request. Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans etc.
- Teach students assigned according to their individual needs using appropriate teaching strategies that meet student needs and abilities, e.g. late-entering students, ESL, low academic ability, gifted and talented etc.
- Set and mark work. Assess, record and report on the academic development, progress and attainment of students and use assessment to ensure the curriculum meets the individual student's needs.
- Display competence in using media and technology in the classroom.
- Promote the general progress and well-being of students and provide guidance to students on educational matters.
- Model and encourage cultural awareness and understanding and promote a love of learning.
- Perform clerical duties associated with textbooks, instructional supplies, equipment, student reports and records, attendance reports.
- Prepare a daily program including daily lesson plans which shall be available for substitute teachers.
- Contribute to the monitoring of student outcomes and effectiveness of programs and the assessment and reporting of individual student progress.
