Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Mission Computing Systems Engineer (CVE) to join our Team. This role specifically lead the personnel assigned to the mission systems and support services environment. He will be part of the Mission Systems Delivery Team; delivering the mission system equipped / verified B-250 aircraft.

• Experience in designing and implementing Tactical Data Link(TDL) systems in contracts or R&D projects.
• Deriving system requirements from customer and military documents, managing requirements traceability (e.g., JAMA or DOORS).
• Developing system architecture documentation, including hardware, software, and network diagrams.
• Selecting rugged security, data processing, communications, and RF components for system design.
• Implementing software to process or interface with tactical data link information.
• Hands-on system integration from prototype to formal qualification, including lab/flight tests.
• Designing tactical data link networks, including IER development and testing.
• Testing tactical data link systems in lab/flight environments, selecting/developing test tools.
• Knowledge of tactical data link roles, messages, and MIL-STD-6016 interfaces.
• Familiarity with NATO/Non-NATO tactical data protocols via IP and MIL-STD-6020 data forwarding.
• Knowledge of VMF via IP and UHF, Mission System Engineer qualifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain MoD UAE Security Clearance, if required.
• Knowledge of engineering design, processes, safety, and quality techniques.
• Expertise in electronic/electrical domains, signal processing, and system certification.
• Familiar with aircraft communication protocols, system design, EMI/EMC, and project management.
• Experience developing or integrating avionics/mission systems.
• Experience in requirements verification/validation.
• Experience in managing project schedules, resources, risk, and earned value.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's Degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience (if applicable). Equivalent engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
• Proficiency in avionics system integration techniques and design.
• Experience in wireless transmission techniques, encryption/decryption, and communication security is highly desirable.
• Experience with military mission systems management is considered a plus.
