Employment: Full Time
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Structural Engineer specializing in Bridge Design to join our growing infrastructure team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex bridge design projects in the UAE and GCC region, with a strong understanding of international and local design standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the structural design of bridge projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed designs.
- Provide technical expertise in the design of various types of bridges (concrete, steel, precast, post-tensioned, etc.).
- Review and validate structural calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, client, and industry standards (AASHTO, Eurocodes, DM, RTA, etc.).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, road, and MEP engineers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Attend client meetings, provide technical presentations, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of design packages in line with project schedules.
- Perform site visits and provide technical support during construction stages, if required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Bridge Design, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Extensive knowledge of international and UAE bridge design standards and codes.
- Strong command of structural design software such as STAAD Pro, MIDAS, LUSAS, RM Bridge, or equivalent.
- Familiar with BIM tools and CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
