Job Description:

We are seeking a Surface Design Engineer to join our dynamic aerospace team. The ideal candidate will have background in surface modeling and aerodynamic shaping for aircraft or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You will play a role in the conceptualization, development, and refinement of aerodynamic surfaces, working closely with CFD, structural, and systems teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead surface design efforts for new aircraft or UAV platforms.
• Develop and refine external aerodynamic surfaces, ensuring manufacturability and aerodynamic performance.
• Collaborate with CFD and structural teams to integrate feedback and optimize design.
• Contribute to the conceptual and detailed design phases of aircraft projects.
• Generate high-quality CAD surface models and technical documentation.
• Support design reviews and present surface design justifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aircraft or UAV design projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or related software).
• Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles and design for manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with composite material design.
• Familiarity with CFD and FEA collaboration workflows.
• Previous work on both manned and unmanned platforms.
• Structural design and component integration.
