Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

Civil QC Engineer - ADNOC Approved, will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control activities related to civil works in accordance with ADNOC project specifications and international standards. This includes inspections, documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes during the execution of EPC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and implement Project Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QCPs.
• Conduct site inspections and surveillance of all civil activities such as:
• Earthworks, concreting, formwork, rebar installation
• Structural steel works
• Backfilling and compaction
• Underground utilities, asphalt, and finishing works
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure materials and workmanship meet project standards (ADNOC/ASTM/BS/API).
• Coordinate with construction, consultants, and client QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.
• Verify compliance with HSE procedures and reporting of quality-related incidents.
• Review material approvals, MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), and test certificates.
• Support third-party testing coordination and verification of results.
• Participate in internal and external audits (ADNOC audits included).
• Ensure proper documentation and quality records as per ADNOC and Technip standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BE Civil Engineering
• ADNOC approval as Civil QC Engineer (MANDATORY).
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in QA/QC for civil projects within oil & gas (EPC).
• Hands-on experience with ADNOC projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software/tools.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
