Job Description
ELE Design Services is looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to lead our Technical Design Department and drive the delivery of technically robust, execution-ready designs for high-end, globally recognised projects.
This is a senior, hands-on role overseeing the full technical design lifecycle—from project kick-off through execution—working closely with designers, studio leadership, contractors, consultants, and clients.
Job Description- Lead and manage the technical design process across multiple high-end projects
- Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and joinery details
- Ensure all designs are technically accurate, feasible, and compliant with UAE regulations
- Identify and resolve technical risks related to feasibility, budget, approvals, and timelines
- Manage tender documentation, BOQ reviews, RFIs, and contractor coordination
- Attend site meetings, conduct site inspections, and resolve on-site technical challenges
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Design team
Requirements
What We're Looking For- Proven experience in technical design management (fit-out, architecture, or interior projects)
- Background in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UAE building regulations
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and project coordination tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working under pressure
