Project Director - Oil & Gas - Contractor

Job Description

Required to join an international contractor working on a large scale oil and gas project in the UAE. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of a large scale mechanical O&G project.

Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities

Ensure compliance with international safety, quality, and environmental standards

Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and joint venture partners

Applicants should meet the following criteria

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

20 + years experience

A proven track record on the delivery of complex oil & gas projects including LNG

Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
