Project Engineer

Job Description

Role Purpose

Produce a complete, accurate, biddable, and buildable set of plans for all the structures in a project. This responsibility should be performed with the least possible manpower expenditures.

• Monitor of sub-contracts after assessing the Trade Contractors capability to provide a quantity product as described under sub-contractor selection criteria.
• Responsible for the direct execution of the works in strict compliance to the contract specifications and requirements.
• Supervise the quality inspections and testing required by the quality procedures as well as supervise the procedures for inspection and testing materials.
• Coordinate between sub-contractors.
• Coordinate and follow up with site engineers and making sure that everyone on site is fully aware of his role in the construction activity.
• Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
• Report all violations and resolved on time
• Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures

• Graduate of Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 7 years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience,
• 5 years of work experience in Gulf companies engaged in the field of Building construction.
• With competence in Construction Management skills, motivated, has strong leadership, able to encourage subordinates and other work groups to work as a team.
• With knowledge of civil and structural codes
• Other associated codes used in the project, excellent technical background and skills in industrial environment.
• Able to control a multi‐national workforce in a dynamic situation.
• Possess negotiation and influence skills, innovative, creative thinker, flexible and excellent organizer.
• Has excellent oral & written communication in English and interpersonal skills.
