Graduate Trainee - Human Resources (UAE National)

Job Description
  1. JOB PURPOSE:

Learning with hands on exposure to strategic facets within different functions of the Human Resources department while providing administrative support and ensuring the efficient functioning of the department including but not limiting to Recruitment and Selection, HR Operations, Rewards and Performance Management and various other HR projects/ initiatives.

Strategic Contribution:

Recruitment:

  • Coordinating prospective candidates, setting up interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Assisting and ensuring all security and internal compliance measures are taken for prospective candidates.
HR Operations
  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee database such as personal files, employee profiles, confidential records, staffing records, leave records, attendance, performance reviews and evaluation, disciplinary actions, termination date and any other data to ensure accuracy and validity of information.
  • Support in conducting new employee orientation and induction to provide new joiners with an overview of objectives, functions, work environment, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with new joiners visa and onboarding
  • Responding to other ad-hoc queries from other personnel in the company and referring issues to senior HR staff
  • Assisting in day-to-day HR activities.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of sectional statements & reports timely and accurately to meet Khazna and department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Adhoc Projects
  • Assisting in internal HR communication
  • Meeting with departmental representatives to discuss HR issues and provide support in driving various HR projects and initiatives
  1. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
  • MBA is preferred
  • UAE National

Minimum Experience:

  • Fresh Graduate
  • Ideally completed one or several previous internship(s) in HR or a business related field

  • Team player skills with ability to also work independently
  • Organization and coordination skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
