Senior Business Analyst
Job Description
We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst Business who will be responsible for shaping and delivering digital initiatives that improve the end-to-end guest journey for our client based in Dubai which is one of the most prestigious organizations in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 24 months and has a possibility of renewal.
The role sits within the Business Technology Department and reports directly to the Head Enterprise & Commercial Business Systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and users to gather business and functional requirements.
- Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and interviews to understand user needs and pain points.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
- Validate requirements against business objectives and customer experience principles.
- Document current (as-is) and target (to-be) business processes and identify opportunities for digital enablement, automation, and improvements.
- Digital Product Support
- Support digital product teams in backlog prioritisation, sprint planning and refinement.
- Clarify requirements for designers and developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Help prioritise features based on business value, complexity, and user need.
- Define UAT test cases and validate outcomes.
- Guest Experience & Journey Mapping
- Map current and future state customer journeys across digital channels.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies or opportunities to enhance the digital guest experience.
- Work with UX designers to ensure solutions align with user expectations and accessibility standards.
- Advocate for human-centered design across touchpoints (app, web, kiosk).
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communications
- Act as liaison between business teams, digital, BT, and vendors.
- Prepare documentation, presentations and visuals to communicate findings.
- Support workshops, stand-ups, retros and demos as part of Agile delivery.
- Ensure technical delivery aligns with business objectives.
- Insight, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor digital product metrics and customer feedback to identify trends.
- Support A/B testing, prototype validation and analytics interpretation.
- Recommend enhancements to tools, processes or content based on evidence.
- Contribute to lessons learned and knowledge sharing across teams.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 35 years relevant experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation, solution design, or process mapping, ideally in aviation, consumer brands, or other relevant sectors.
- Digital transformation project support and reporting.
- Customer journey mapping and human-centered design.
- Expertise with DXP platforms, Headless CMS & Microservices Architecture, Omnichannel Architecture, CRM, web technologies, app frameworks, CDP, personalization engines, eCommerce, and loyalty platforms.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
Availability:
