About the Job
As a Junior Accountant at REDA Chemicals, you will support the financial operations by processing daily journal entries, preparing bank reconciliations, and managing expense payments. Your role includes verifying and reconciling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.Additionally, you will maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the organization's overall financial health.
Responsibilities- Process daily journal entries to accurately record receivables and revenue.
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations to ensure account accuracy.
- Prepare and post daily expense payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Verify, allocate, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Organize and maintain financial records for easy access and reference.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Prior hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Microsoft D365 ERP, SAP, QuickBooks)
