Job requirements

As field electronic technician you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

As a field electronic technician, you will be responsible for:

• Tests and evaluates the performance, and if required, repairs oil-purpose electronic and instrumentation equipment test equipment.
• Reviews the accuracy of procedures for the assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configures electronic sensors and devices.
• Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
• Assists with installation and configuration of instrumentation systems, sensors, and accessories.

• Have a bachelor's degree or a technical diploma or associate's degree in electronic, mechatronic, or instrumentation.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment.
• Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Have knowledge in the use of oscilloscopes.
• Have knowledge of multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
• Have the ability to read, interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
