Role Summary
Time Training Center is seeking an experienced and technically strong ArcFM Instructor to deliver advanced professional training programs focused on ArcFM configuration, enterprise GIS, and utility network management. The instructor will be responsible for conducting hands-on technical training sessions, preparing instructional materials, guiding participants through real-world utility GIS scenarios, and supporting learners in configuring and managing ArcFM-based solutions within enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in ArcFM architecture, enterprise geodatabases, utility network modeling, and ArcGIS integration, with strong instructional and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instructor-led ArcFM training programs in classroom and online environments
- Conduct hands-on workshops covering ArcFM configuration and enterprise GIS workflows
- Teach ArcFM architecture, data models, feature classes, relationship classes, and utility network concepts
- Guide participants in configuring ArcFM Object Reader, Designer, tracing tools, and business rules
- Demonstrate enterprise geodatabase configuration and utility network management
- Support participants in implementing validation rules, connectivity rules, and workflow automation
- Provide practical instruction on versioning, editing workflows, reconciliation, and posting
- Deliver training related to performance optimization, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- Prepare course presentations, lab exercises, technical documentation, and assessments
- Customize training materials according to client or organizational requirements
- Evaluate participant performance and provide technical mentoring
- Stay updated with the latest ArcFM, ArcGIS Enterprise, and utility GIS technologies
- Support corporate training projects and technical consultancy assignments when required
- Technical Skills & Expertise Required
Candidates should have strong experience in:
- ArcFM platform configuration and administration
- ArcGIS Enterprise and Enterprise Geodatabases
- Utility GIS systems for Electric, Gas, Water, Wastewater, or Telecom sectors
- Geometric Networks and Utility Network concepts
- Feature classes, object classes, relationship classes, and subtypes
- Attribute domains, validation rules, and workflow automation
- ArcFM Designer and Object Reader configuration
- Network tracing and connectivity management
- Versioned editing workflows
- SQL Server and/or Oracle database administration
- GIS system deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Data migration, integration, and schema management
- Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- ArcGIS and/or ArcFM certifications preferred
- Minimum 5–10 years of professional GIS and utility network experience
- Previous training or teaching experience preferred
- Experience working with utility organizations or enterprise GIS implementations is highly desirable
