Are you a proactive legal and compliance professional looking to make an impact in the insurance industry? We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Officer to support our compliance functions in Dubai. If you have experience in regulatory affairs, legal advisory, and AML, this is your chance to grow with a dynamic organization committed to integrity and excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Compliance in managing regulatory interactions with authorities such as CBUAE, DOH, DHA, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Assist in training colleagues on compliance topics including AML, sanctions, and code of conduct.
• Collaborate with operations and business teams to align practices with regulatory and client needs.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
• Provide legal and compliance advisory support to the business as needed.
• Stay updated on regional regulatory changes and support the business in adapting to new requirements.
• Act as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for Marsh Emirates Insurance Brokerage LLC, supporting AML and sanctions-related matters across the region (Oman, Egypt, Jordan).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in compliance or legal roles, preferably within insurance or banking sectors in the UAE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
