CAD Detail Draftsman (Architecture And Interiors)

Employment: Full Time

This role is critical in ensuring that all design documentation aligns with the studio’s high standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior CAD drawings for high-end residential, retail, and development projects.
• Review and align all specification sheets, material boards, and CAD documentation.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure complete technical integration.
• Produce detailed sections, elevations, joinery drawings, millwork packages, RCPs, and technical layouts.
• Develop and issue comprehensive construction drawing sets; coordinate and review shop drawings.
• Ensure all documentation complies with local authority regulations, building codes, and international standards.
• Convert CAD drawings into BIM models or assist the BIM team with model integration.
• Maintain drawing logs, adhere to studio standards, and manage revisions and QA/QC checks.
• Identify and resolve technical discrepancies in design documentation.
• Support the design team through tender, IFC, and construction phases.
• Conduct site and factory inspections to verify technical details and execution.
• Understand and work with FF&E materials and specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in architectural and interior detailing.
• Proven track record in luxury residential, retail, and mixed-use development projects.
• Sound understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E selection and specification for high-end interior design.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical abilities.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit and BIM tools.
• Skilled in managing and updating external references (Xrefs) within CAD files.
• Advanced knowledge of interior construction details, including joinery, millwork, and precise dimensioning.
• Competent in utilizing CAD tables and polylines to calculate Gross Floor Area (GFA) and Built-Up Area (BUA).
• Experienced in creating and modifying dynamic blocks to enhance drafting speed and consistency.
• Proficient in setting up and maintaining sheet sets for efficient project documentation and coordination.
• Familiar with configuring print layouts, pen assignments, and batch publishing processes for final drawing delivery

Salary: AED 7,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
