Position Overview

The Middle Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of transactional data in the BGN CTRM.

The role focuses on trade and logistics data quality — not risk analysis — ensuring that the BGN CTRM reliably reflects the contractual and economic reality of transactions and supports reporting, accounting, and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and/or validate accurate trade entry in the BGN CTRM, ensuring correct capture of contractual terms.
• Control and review logistics and financial data entered by other departments.
• Maintain data integrity throughout the full trade lifecycle.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of shipment, quantity, pricing, and delivery data.
• Coordinate with Operations, Shipping, Trade Finance, and related teams to ensure consistency between contracts and system records.

• Perform systematic data quality checks and remediate discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with internal data standards and escalate structural issues.

• Enforce BGN CTRM workflows and approval processes.
• Act as key contact for transactional data quality matters across departments.

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–7 years experience in commodity trading operations, middle office, trade accounting, or CTRM systems.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and physical logistics.
• Experience with ETRM/CTRM systems
