Summary

We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Executive Groups & Events to join our dynamic Sales team at Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. This is a reactive sales position, primarily responsible for handling all group and event-related inquiries.

The ideal candidate will respond to incoming leads and convert business by preparing tailored proposals, negotiating offers, and coordinating closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all incoming group and event inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses that align with the Andaz brand standards.
• Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and function sheets in coordination with the Events and Operations teams.
• Follow up on all leads and proposals to ensure maximum conversion.
• Build strong working relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, PCOs, event planners, and travel organizers.
• Maintain accurate records in the hotels CRM and booking systems (e.g., Envision, Opera Sales & Catering).
• Collaborate with the Revenue team to align pricing and positioning for group segments.
• Conduct site inspections and support familiarization trips to showcase the hotels unique features and event spaces.
• Ensure handover of confirmed business to the Events and Operations teams is smooth and detailed.
• Meet and exceed team revenue targets for the Groups & Events segment.

• Previous experience in hotel sales, preferably in Groups, Events, or MICE.
• Strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi market, particularly around ADNEC-driven demand.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency in sales systems (e.g., Opera S&C, Envision) and MS Office Suite.
• Energetic, guest-focused, and aligned with the bold, rooted, and imaginative spirit of the Andaz brand.
