Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented elevator technician to join our team in Kuwait. As an elevator technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevator systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on elevator equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose elevator malfunctions
• Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, cables, and control systems
• Conduct safety tests and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and building management to address elevator-related issues
• Stay updated on the latest elevator technologies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in elevator technology preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in elevator systems and components, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following proper procedures
• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
• Familiarity with various elevator brands and models
• Ability to work in hot climate conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
