Job Description

We are hiring for one of major clients for the below requirement in UAE.

Job Details:

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15-30 days of notice

Required Experience:

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in database administration or IT support roles.
• Responsible for providing intermediate-level support for database systems, troubleshooting escalated issues from L1 teams, and assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of database environments.
• strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL, performance tuning, and data security to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization&aposs databases.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies for databases.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer).
• Basic knowledge of database security practices, including encryption and access controls.
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Rotational shifts, including 24/7 support as required
• Work closely with L1 and L3 teams to ensure seamless database operations.
• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, ITIL Foundation Certifications are highly preferred.
