JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience in shore pull of pipelines is an advantage
Mission- Coordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, in order to ensure
efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices
Tasks- Assist the Offshore Construction Manager with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board
- Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and
- Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases
- Ensure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status
- Liaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance and
- Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production
- Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of
- Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensures that the daily Tool Box Talks and
- Motivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness
- Ensure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the
- Report incidents and near-miss events
- Manage the Crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV
- Assist marine operations if required
- Provide a construction report at the end of each shift
- Assist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation and monitoring of the
- Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked
- Report to the Offshore Construction Manager
