We are seeking a well skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality products. The role requires good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to maintain strong supplier relationships and support our sales and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:Inquiry Management:
- Obtain inquiries from the sales team and check product history.
- Select suppliers to float the inquiries and obtain prices.
- Analyze supplier prices and send detailed cost calculations before deadlines.
- Provide the history of prices and trends.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Issue Purchase Orders.
- Arrange on-time payments and maintain import shipment tracking reports.
- Prepare a procurement action plan per the project schedule, considering lead items.
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Coordinate and negotiate with forwarding companies to obtain the best freight rates and scheduled deliveries.
- Arrange pre-shipment inspections with the relevant agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role. Lubricant is advantage.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Age: 25-40 years old
