Role Summary

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to balance portfolio growth with prudent risk practices and enhancing the user journey to unlock business value.

• Analyze financial and customer data to provide actionable insights on portfolio performance, risk trends, and product opportunities.
• Collaborate with product managers and risk managers to evaluate lending product performance and identify initiatives that improve the balance of growth and risk.
• Design and interpret metrics/KPIs that guide strategic decisions across the lending portfolio.
• Conduct segmentation and cohort analyses to identify user behaviors, risk profiles, and growth opportunities.
• Map and analyze end-to-end customer journeys to identify friction points and propose enhancements to increase conversion, retention, and cross-sell.
• Support pricing, policy, and eligibility simulations through data modeling to evaluate impact on portfolio yield and credit risk.
• Develop dashboards and reports that communicate performance, trends, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
• Stay current on market trends, competitive benchmarks, and regulatory updates impacting credit products.
• Contribute to business case development for new initiatives, product changes, and growth experiments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 37 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or product analytics, preferably in a fintech, lending, or financial institution setting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with Python or R is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of credit product economics, risk-return trade-offs, and credit portfolio management.
• Experience working with large data sets, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, credit scoring, and regulatory frameworks in lending is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with product, risk, data, and marketing teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a problem-solving mindset.
