Junior Process Engineer

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated junior process engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a UAE national with a degree in chemical engineering and 2 years of experience in process engineering. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in industrial processes, operations, and optimization within the energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors.

• Assist in analyzing, designing, and optimizing chemical and industrial processes.
• Support process simulations, calculations, and technical reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Monitor and evaluate plant performance, efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Participate in process troubleshooting, improvements, and technical investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and HSE.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

• Bacheloru2019s degree in chemical engineering from a recognized university.
• 2 years of experience in process engineering (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• UAE national (Emirati candidates only as per Emiratization requirements).
• Basic understanding of oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing processes.
• Awareness of HSE and process safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
