Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. MEP Engineer, you will assist in the design and development of building systems, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver innovative and efficient solutions for our clients.
- Assist in the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various building projects
- Create and modify MEP drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes to enhance project coordination
- Perform basic calculations and analysis for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Support senior engineers in preparing project specifications and technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure MEP designs align with architectural and structural plans
- Stay updated on local building codes and standards in Dubai and the UAE
- Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient building systems
- Assist in conducting site visits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of MEP designs
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in MEP engineering or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of local building codes and standards in Dubai and the UAE
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy efficiency in building systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends
