Job Summary
An Accounting Staff Assistant supports the accounting and administration department by performing basic financial tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy, organization, and compliance with financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and documents
- Record daily transactions (e.g., invoices, receipts, payments)
- Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
- Maintain filing systems (physical and electronic)
- Support VAT documentation and record-keeping
- Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and administration team
