Swimming Pool Construction Manager / Site Engineer

About the Role

You will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring technical excellence across civil, structural, waterproofing, and MEP works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction of residential swimming pools, from excavation through to final handover
• Supervise all on-site activities including excavation, steel fixing, concrete works (shotcrete/cast), waterproofing, and finishing
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications

• Interpret and coordinate structural, MEP, and landscape drawings
• Oversee installation of pool systems including filtration, pumps, piping, and lighting
• Ensure proper execution of waterproofing systems and structural integrity

• Lead and manage site labour, foremen, and subcontractors
• Develop and monitor daily and weekly work schedules to meet deadlines
• Track productivity and enforce quality control standards

• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and local authority requirements
• Coordinate inspections and obtain necessary approvals
• Maintain site safety standards and documentation

• Plan and coordinate material requirements and site deliveries
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage
• Support cost control, tracking, and reporting

• Oversee testing and commissioning of pool systems
• Ensure proper functioning of filtration, circulation, and lighting systems
• Manage snagging, final inspections, and project handover

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in swimming pool construction within the UAE or GCC
• Proven track record delivering residential pool projects
• Strong expertise in shotcrete, waterproofing systems, and pool MEP installations

• Solid understanding of structural and MEP drawings
• Knowledge of pool systems including filtration, pumps, and hydraulics
• Familiarity with Dubai construction standards and authority approvals

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

• Strong leadership and site management skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• UAE driving license (required)
• Experience with villa landscaping and external works is an advantage
