Funding & Financial Sustainability Division Manager

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To enhance financial efficiency and sustainability within the social sector by overseeing financial strategies and policies, performance measurement frameworks, service cost analysis, and ensuring adequate funding in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee financial strategies and policies that enhance efficiency and sustainability across the social sector, ensuring alignment with federal and local regulations.
• Supervise the review and analysis of service costs and support social sector entities in pricing services by government guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess funding needs, support additional funding requests, and ensure optimal allocation of financial resources.
• Develop and maintain financial performance frameworks, monitor key indicators, and identify financial risks and gaps, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Provide financial modelling and forecasting for new social sector initiatives, including facilities, services, and programs, to ensure long-term viability.
• Work closely with government entities, social sector partners, and internal teams to align financial planning with strategic goals and ensure smooth implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in economics from a recognized institution; Masters preferred.
• Minimum of nine (9) years of experience in a similar role, including four (4) years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in economic analysis, funding sustainability,financial management, and strategy development.
• Experience in the social development sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
• Knowledge of public finance, macroeconomic policy, and regulatory frameworks.
